How do I earn ThankYou® Points?
With the Citi mtvU Card, there are several ways you can earn ThankYou Points:
- Earn 250 to 2,000 points twice a year when you come home with a good GPA
- 25 points each month that you pay your bill on time and stay within your credit
limit
- 5 points for every dollar you spend at restaurants (including fast food), bookstores,
record stores, movie theaters, and video rental stores
- 1 point for every dollar you spend on everything else
You can earn up to 75,000 ThankYou Points per calendar year.
What is the rate on the Citi mtvU card?
The Citi mtvU Card offers a 0% introductory APR on purchases, balance transfers
and cash advances. This 0% APR applies for 6 months. But we may increase it if you
default under any cardmember agreement you have with us because you pay us late,
go over your credit limit or have a returned check. A cash advance fee applies.
Keep in mind your payments will be applied to low APR balances before higher ones.

Does the card have an annual fee?
The Citi mtvU card has no annual fee.
What kind of rewards can I get?
The Citi mtvU card is a part of ThankYou Network from Citi, a free rewards program that lets Citi mtvU cardmembers redeem their points for things like gift cards, video games, airline tickets and more. As a Citi mtvU card member, you can also use your ThankYou Points on amazing rewards like tickets to the mtvU Woodie Awards, Meet and Greets with an mtvU VJ, and mtvU studio tours (while supplies last).

Tickets to the mtvU Woodie Awards, the MTV Movie Awards, or the MTV Video Music
Awards are available for a limited time prior to each event and are subject to availability.

these rewards.
